Spean Bridge PH34 4EG, UK
A beautiful, peaceful place to pay your respects to those who lost their lives in battle. There is a small memorial garden nearby. The views are spectacular, and give you a real sense of what these Commandos would have had to train in. Highly recommended.
Very memorable place for me as my grandad on my father's side of the family was one of the first to volunteer for the Commandos during WW2 and was shipped off to Japan for special operations. The place has a very proud and strong atmosphere of dignity to it. So many people there when I was there with coach loads of people paying there respects. Am emotional moment but one full of pride for the men who volunteered to protect us all.
